Minimum Wage Increases

So, maybe you'll be able to actually live where you work now in Washington, DC. I'm just kidding but at least you maybe able to pay your share of the rent if you're living with a roommate or several roommates. DC's minimum wage increases to $10.50 today. But with new apartments starting at $2200 for a 300SF Studio, I don't think you'll be able to afford to live alone.
